How They Fared at 2020 UIL State XC Meet: Schools with Both Gender Teams


While four schools won a state championship in one gender and finished second in another on Monday or Tuesday, nobody was able to pull off a double title win at this year's 49th annual University Interscholastic League (UIL) state cross country meet.

Fifteen (15) schools have earned a championship double 22 times in the history of the state meet.

The 21 schools, listed below in alphabetical order, were those who had both their boys and girls teams qualify for the state meet and how they placed on Monday or Tuesday, based on their classification:

10 - Ackerly Sands - Boys 4th, Girls 6th (1A Region I)

12 - Bandera - Boys 8th, Girls 4th (4A Region IV)
  3 - Boerne Champion - Boys 2nd, Girls 1st (5A Region IV)

12 - Christoval - Boys 7th, Girls 5th (2A Region I)
  6 - Conroe The Woodlands - Boys 3rd, Girls 3rd (6A Region II)
  3 - Cumby Miller Grove - Boys 1st, Girls 2nd (1A Region III)

  3 - Grapevine - Boys 1st, Girls 2nd (5A Region I)

15 - Huffman Hargrave - Boys 6th, Girls 9th (4A Region III)

14 - Klein - Boys 7th, Girls 7th (6A Region II)

12 - Lucas Lovejoy - Boys 5th, Girls 7th (5A Region II)

22 - Magnolia West - Boys 9th, Girls 13th (5A Region III)
13 - McGregor - Boys 8th, Girls 5th (3A Region III)
16 - Munday - Boys 11th, Girls 5th (1A Region II)

18 - New Summerfield - Boys 6th, Girls 12th (2A Region III)

16 - Priddy - Boys 6th, Girls 10th (1A Region III)

20 - Salado - Boys 9th, Girls 11th (4A Region III)
