Fifty-three teams -- 26 boys and 27 girls - will be sending a team to the UIL state meet for at least the last four years consecutively.
An additional 36 teams -- 17 boys and 19 girls -- were at the state meet last year and/or the last two years.
This means 89 teams -- 43 boys and 46 girls -- of the 144 overall teams that qualified for this year's state meet were there in 2019.
